Since 2010, Vlad Furdui is working for one of the country’s top consulting firm – Business Intelligent Services (BIS).
BIS partners with clients from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors in all regions to identify their highest-value opportunities, address their most critical challenges, and transform their enterprises. In 2011, Vlad was promoted as the head of the Strategic Planning Department, position he is currently holding.
In addition, from 2011 Vlad is working, as a short-term Business Development & SME Expert for Promo-Terra NGO.
Promo-Terra is a Moldova-registered not-for-profit organization, founded in 2002, dedicated to implementation of various development initiatives, support and consulting service.
His relevant experience includes Private Sector Development and SME support, enhancing market access potential, elaboration of development concepts, strategy planning, financial analysis and diagnostics, business plan development, corporate finance consulting, market studies.
During 6+ years professional carrier he has been working in various international consulting projects, supported by international donor organizations like UNDP, USAID, World Bank, EBRD, SIDA, IFAD etc.
Most relevant recent completed projects are:
1. Study on the Business Development Services market on both banks of the Nistru River, SCBM Programme, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Moldova.
2. Joint Integrated Local Development Programme /JILDP implemented by UNDP and UN Women. "Provision of comprehensive training, coaching, grants and on-going consulting services to women and men, particularly vulnerable, willing to initiate or expand current businesses".
3. World Bank Moldova Agricultural Competitiveness Project (MAC-P): “Enhancing market access potential”.
4. World Bank Project “Development of institutional strategy for the Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organisation (MIEPO)”.
