Mariana Radov

Ms. Radov has 16 years of experience in economics and management of which 8 years are in business consulting. She worked in over 30 national and international projects as Expert and Project Manager, providing services such as consultancy in strategic and operational management, complex company diagnostics, risk analysis, and capacity building of companies.

She also works for public sector (especially in infrastructure projects) on development strategic plans, feasibility studies and private & public partnerships. She coordinated, for example, the feasibility study for one of the 1st industrial park in Moldova (CAAN Straseni region, Brownfield framework).

She worked as expert in projects for different international donors such as UNDP (JILDP project on inter-municipal cooperation, Syslab Entrepreneurship Program), GIZ, GOPA, USAID LGSP (infrastructure projects), Black sea basin Project (local economic development based on PACA – participatory appraisal of competitive advantage - approach).

Ms. Radov worked for 5 years as Associated Partner and Vice Director of ProConsulting LLC (one of leading consulting companies from Moldova), and was responsible for business development of the company, project management, and writing of proposals for national and international projects.

Certificates of trainer (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova and different Training of trainer’s courses) confirmed her teaching skills. Her training domains include strategic planning, business modelling (based on Business Model Canvas) and, recently Blue Ocean Strategy course. She also was teacher of Business planning course at Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. And she provided trainings for SMEs and elaborated Trainers’ handbook and Beneficiary’s task book under UNDP Syslab Entrepreneurship Program.

Ms. Radov had different articles in business magazines such as “Eco” and “Business Class” and she worked for IDIS Viitorul (Institute for Development Social Initiatives) writing for "Economic Monitor" magazine. Under her Ph.D. research, she wrote for scientific magazines too.

Now Ms. Radov works as individual consultant and business trainer and continue to collaborate with ProConsulting LLC on a freelance-basis. And she is member of CEED Club – 1st Founders and Managers Club in Moldova and helps entrepreneurs in their business development as trainer and mentor.
